Santa Fe 5/6 Center

Who is Ms. N.?

Hi there! My name is Ms. Nottingham and I am so incredibly excited to be your student's 5th Grade Literacy and Science teacher.

A little about me...

I was born in Kansas but grew up in Arizona. For some of my childhood I lived on a pig farm and I spent my days swimming in the irrigation ditches and catching fish with my hands to feed to our cats. We also owned horses and chickens,

My family and I moved back to Kansas when I was 13. I actually came to Santa Fe when it was still a middle school and attended my 8th grade year here!

I am a Newton High School Graduate, GO RAILERS! I also attended Hutchinson Community College and graduated from Sterling College in May of 2015.

I have one son, his name is Rodney and he is a Freshman at Newton High School. We also have a puppy named Anikan. We enjoy sporting events and traveling.

Prior to having my own classroom I was a substitute teacher in the Newton School District for two years and actually taught many of my current students at their previous elementary schools!

I am looking forward to a fantastic year and I can't wait to learn more about my students and their families!

Box Tops For Education

Box Tops.JPG
We collect Box Tops for Education at Santa Fe 5/6 Center. Just clip them off of many of the food and household packages around your home and send them in with your student. They are worth a few cents each and teachers can use them to purchase items for the classroom. Thank you for collecting!
